I'm going to be gone for a while.

OK so as many of you know my FIL passed away today. I'm going to be away from this blog for a few weeks. I will update you all.

As you can see I'm seriously having trouble coming up with titles. LOL Anyways, today I went out shopping with a freind and we went and had lunch. Well yesterday or maybe Saturday she went to a meeting and the NY State troopers donated Sock Monkey's to the kids who have deployed (mother's-fathers). My friend Joanna picked one up for me. So on the tag it has something along the lines of from troopers to troopers. It's NY PBA something. LOL All I know is that I donate to them $20.00 every 3 months and I guess I was shocked today to see that tag on the little monkey. His name is Maxx and he's very cute. The funny thing is I decided the other day to buy Jack a sockmonkey because they are so darn cute. Now he will have brothers? LOL OK enough rambling. I need to go get dinner made for the monsters.

I went to make a sign tonight for Larry's homecoming. I have no idea what I did wrong but now I can't locate my pictures. I will take double pictures tomorrow and post them. Off to bed now.

ETA: This weekend was a hard weekend. I was really just missing my husband. Then everytime I looked at my hand I just got more depressed. I've only taken my rings off when I had to ex. pregnancy, swelling, cleaning out toliets

So not being able to find my ring has taken a toll on me. I hate not having it. It's easy to say "yea I can buy a new one, but, I don't want a new one." I know I sound whiny.

First of all let me say that you should always check the date on your camera before you take pictures or you will have messed up dates on all of your pictures. Or maybe you should just leave the date off. I've decided from now on I will leave the date off because I randomly snap pictures and it irks me to have the wrong date on my pictures. The only thing that saves me is the date of them being downloaded to the computer. FYI if you do decide to put the date stamp on them you should also make sure that your camera isn't going to go dead. This is my dog Scout. He is loyal to me. If I'm upset he will be at my side and I almost fall over him because he's right up my butt. At times its very annoying but I'm thankful for his loyalty.

Mans best friend?

Jack absolutely loves our dogs. Our puppy Mia loves Jack. She's always giving him kisses and wanting him to play with her. Jack has learned how to take the ball and throw it for the dogs. It's the cutest thing. Mia has to go to her crate when Jack is napping because Mia will go over and lick Jack until he wakes up. GROSS LOL

What a yucky day

The title describes it all. It's just been one of those days. I need a vacation awat from reality. The dogs are driving me crazy. They want to be right up under me every second of the day. Jack has been a terror. And well the older kids are just being BRATS. Yep, I call my kids brats. Oh well sue me. I need someone to share some energy with me. I'm so tired. My kid isn't sleeping. It's crazy. I made loaded potato soup, salad, and rolls for dinner. I think that was the highlight of my day. OK now to go get kids baths and in the bed.

I went to lunch with my friend Amy today. It was her birthday. She turned 25 again. (hehe) There's this little hole in the wall dinner that is awesome. We had wings while we were waiting on our burgers!!!! Talk about delicious. Mmmmmmmm......... Yes, I know that wings and burgers are fatty but hey a girl needs a cheeseburger every now and then :).

Day 5? Yep I do believe so

OK excuse me but I got 4 hours of sleep last night. This little boy decided that he doesn't want to go to sleep so therefore I have to stay awake long and get my list all done. Yes, I am a list person. Pretty much if I don't do a list for almost everything I'm going to forget. I think thats where the ADHD comes in. It drives me crazy but I have to do what I have to do. So I decided to just take a picture of my everyday self. I love love love comfy clothes. I could careless what others think when they knock on my door. Hey its my house right. And you know if I were sick and I needed to run out to get a few things I would wear my sweatpants because honestly I'm not trying to impress anyone. I don't see how its much different than wearing them to the gym but that's just me. Their not all holey and stained so no big deal. Well the ones I have on today I wouldn't wear out because they are 3x my size. They are my Mr's pants. I love them. They are soft and snuggly and remind me of him. I was about to get a picture taken when my little Mia decided that she wanted to get in on the action too. She's such a camera hog. LOL So this is me everyday when I'm just sitting around the house lounging and/or cleaning.

Day 4 of photo blog

OK so I am cheating today but its only because I'm missing my husband today. And I figure why not upload a picture of him onto my blog. This way a:people can see him LOL and b: most importantly I get to see him :)

Just Another Day

So I'm sitting here warming up from a hot cup of coffee. I just spent 2 hours outside snow blowing and shoveling 3 driveways. Yes you heard that correctly 3. My driveway could actually count for 2 but I'm only counting it as one. I have a neighbor who was out of town and has 2 driveway. Well I can use the snow blower only so much because as all of you know the snow blower doesn't go through chunks of ice. I had over 2 feet of snow on the bottom of my drive way and then I went over to do my neighbors and the way their driveways are (split) into 2. Well the one was covered under about 4 feet of snow that was basically ice. So imagaine 6 ft x 6 ft of nothing but ice. I'm hoping that all the shoveling counts for cardio id not I'm going to be p____ed. OK So I'm going to attach a horrible picture of myself shoveling. This was right before I come inside so I took off my gloves. I hope everyone has had a wonderful day. OH yea tomorrow the kids go back to school. YAY!!!!!!!

Blah.....

Today started off being a great day. Jack slept in which allowed mommy to sleep in. The kids were quiet and weren't running around like wild animals. I also recieved a brief (5 minute) call from my husband. So, I'm sitting around the house pretty much being lazy and watching tv. And then I remembered that I was suppose to make a cake for my friend. Crap what was I thinking? I made one last night and there was enough stuff for 2 cakes -minus the crust. I had to prepare the crust today. YIKES!!!!!! So I go to the kitchen to start to prepare to make my cake and I get a phone call. Well lets just say the phone call put a damper on things and got me off the track of making my cake for over an hour because in return I had to make phone calls myself. (the joys of being a Key Caller) After my intial phone calls I got back on track and made my crust. I know that my stuff isn't beautiful but usually its pretty darn tasty. Oh I have to say that this isn't my recipe. I got it from another blog but WOW. I will be making this dessert again. Maybe I will make it for myself for my birthday :) I will try to get a picture of myself tomorrow and post it. I hope everyone has a wonderful evening.

Let the 365 days of photography begin :) I really hope that I can keep up with this. I'm sure I can. I figure well if I miss a day or so because my husband comes home either from deployment or for R&R then I will just have to do a catch up weekly blog for that time frame.



We had a fun filled night with the kids having pizza, sparkling grape juice at midnight, donuts, ice cream and popcorn. Talk about a bunch of hyper kids. LOL It was great they really enjoyed themselves and New Years Eve is only once a year. Jack took a nap so he was doing the count down as well.
